Tray 1 - Day 8

While the tooth tightness and talking are getting better and I'm getting used to the trays in general...the corners of my mouth are so cracked and painful, that I'm still unhappy with these. Bah! For the last two days, I've had one side cracked and painful, but had been keeping it pretty moist with Carmex and by yesterday it was feeling much better. Then after sleeping and whatever the heck happens during sleeping with these things in, I woke up with that side re-irritated and the other side now cracked. It's so painful. Every time I brush my teeth, which is A LOT, both sides sting...and flossing, which again is A LOT requires me to open my mouth wide...not to mention eat, talking, breathing, everything. I look extra disgusting now. AWE-SOME. Not happy.

Tray 1 - Day 5

The trays are getting easier to deal with, but the biggest annoyance at the moment is the crack in the corner of my mouth from my lips being so dry. Bah!
Aside from that minor inconvenience, the soreness is much less and the trays must be doing their job, because they are easier to take off and off. I did have them out for quite a while, yesterday when some people were over for a BBQ, and I noticed they were tight to put back in, but today they seem to have gotten back into place quickly.
I'm counting the days until tray 2.

Tray 1 - Day 4

Nothing too crazy new on day four.
The trays feel a bit less intrusive, still annoying, but not as bad. They are easier to get in and out, but I'm still having trouble with the lower ones. (Make sure you leave yourself some fingernail...mine are thin, so they don't help too much, but better than nothing.)
The most annoying thing I realized today was that when I talk it seems as though spit comes up through the top liner...I know, gross...it doesn't seep to be visible...but still, incredibly annoying.
I had them out for a long chunk of time today, around 4 hours at once (not including breakfast and lunch, which was probably about an hour total). Bad. It may have set me back a day, which I suppose isn't too terrible, I did notice when I put them back in, that they felt tighter everywhere and I'm about to take some Tylenol for it, because the pressure is getting distracting. I'm sure they'll snap back into place soon, but that is definitely something I shouldn't do often.
